Do you mean Routing type?

This has always been a problem. Layout sometimes also inserts bend points in the lines at strange places and angles.

Martin,
the autolayout is definitely not the cream. In best case it's butter milk. I meanwhile found out where to use it and where not. E.g. for Ports it doesn't do anything (except scrapping the layout :(). However, I made workarounds with add-ins which definitely improves work. It would be nice it the autolayout itself was available as modifiable script so one could make changes on his own. Wishful thinking...
