Using RTF in linked documents
« on: April 04, 2008, 02:44:40 am »
I'm looking for a way to use RTF controls and options in the linked documents. However, the linked document templates don't have the controls and options that are in the RTF templates. Does anyone know of a way to use RTF Templates in Linked Document?
Thanks!

I'm not sure that I quite understand your question, but I'll try two answers for you:

You create a linked document by selecting an RTF template from a drop-down list on the Create Linked Document dialog.

Once you are in the document, you access the formatting menus and options by right-clicking on the document background.

The Help for Linked Documents is here:

http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/EAUserGuide/index.html?linking_documentation.htm

This topic links to topics on creating new RTF templates for your linked documents, and to the Edit Linked Document topic that explains how to format your documents.

Does this help?
