Initial EA Web Screen (design)
« on: April 18, 2008, 04:28:55 am »
Hello All, very new to your forum as well as the EA tool. I was wondering if any of you have any great examples of an initial screen for your EA projects.

Thanks!

Could you specify? What do you mean by "initial screen"?
Recursion definition:
If you don’t understand the definition read "Recursion definition".

I believe he is refering to some sort of start screen with links and items guiding one further inside the model. Like a basic menu.

Eg. one of my diagrams contains diagram references to certain stages of the modeled component- requirements view, requirements coverage view, affected components, interface interaction, overal sequence diagram and data structures.

This is the entry point for those interested in the inner workings of the component without the need to search through the model for interesting information.
I have then excluded the diagram from RTF generation so that it only appears in HTML view, not in the RTF documents where it is pointless to  have it just sit there.

Ah, just noticed that this is post number 100 by me. Where is the cake ?  :D

I think this is more about the Welcome page as in EAExample...to set the background image and to have direct links from it...

Cake should be within seconds Oliver, so wait for the door  bell ;D

I was talking about the initial screen, just like EAexample. But I went ahead and designed my own without issue.
