Req Mgmt White Paper discrepancies/How to in V7+

On page 11 of the "Requirements Management with Enterprise Architect" white paper it shows a Report View of the requirements and says that this is selected under the main menu by selecting View | Report View.  This menu item does not exist and I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.   I've looked through the manual and the forums, as well as poking around in EA for quite a while.  Any help would be appreciated.

I've also had other issues with the white papers, which seem to be out of date.  It might be a good idea to revise them to match the changes in the new versions of EA.

Sparx has been making a great effort to refresh the white papers, but they cannot fix them until they know what's wrong.

Try the Element List - via View | Element List from the main menu or the control-alt-R shortcut - instead and see if this does what you want.

In the meantime, please send a support request message to Sparx to let them know this needs attention. You'll find the address by clicking the Support link at the top or bottom of any forum page. The link you want is very near the top of the resulting page.

Thanks, that got me what I was looking for.  I'll also send a note to Support on the issues with the White Paper once I've gone through it all.

I have the same problem.  Does it have to do with only having the desktop edition as opposed to the corporate edition?

I don't think this is an issue relating to the feature mix Ed. The point I made earlier in the thread is that the feature mentioned in the top post appears to be obsolete.

Are you able to use the Element List?

You can always check the features at: http://www.sparxsystems.com/products/ea_editions.html.

Remember that you can upgrade for the cost difference between editions, so the penalty is moderate.
