resource task details report empty

Hello,
I am having trouble to obtain a resource report as shown in the user guide. I created resources under my settings tab with a few names and assigned a role which exists in the roles tab.
Then I assign, using the project mgmt window, a name to a use case.
Finally, when I ask a resource and task details report, I cannot see the name come up. Dates and root package are correct.
Any ideas?

Do you have "Show Where" set to All?

yes I have. Is there another way to set this up?
I still couldn't figure it out...
