context sensitive task panes

Hi,

I am struggling to create context sensitive task panes, hopefully someone can help me out.

Following the instructions in help I can create a custom task pane that is not context sensitive, but only if I do not name the tagged value target.  If I name the target (as shown in help) then no pane is shown at all.

Apparently there is a boolean attribute called isCommon, which i have added and set to false, but still no joy.

I am using custom stereotypes, but these seem to work with pretty much everything else.  Am I trying to d something that doesnt work?
