Problem with headings

by generating the rtf report i get table of contens but without the root package, which is included in the contents of tables but without the number one.



Examples      5
1.1    Business Context      5
1.1.1    Strategies      6
1.1.2    Stakeholders      6
1.1.3    Topology      7
1.2    Business Objects      7
1.3    Business Workflows      7

i need :

1. Examples 5
1.1 .....

Check out the style used for Table of contents in the document. If numbering is not specified (I guess for style TOC1 in your case), this could be the output.

where can i do it? Edit styles-->TOC1 doesn't  work

The Contents list should reflect the numbering used in the document sections, so you set your numbering on the section headings. In the product Help, try:

Creating Documents | RTF Documents | Generate RTF Documents | RTF Templates Tab | RTF Style Template Editor | User Defined Section Numbering.

thanks! almost done, the only problem is that the field
List override (in the Edit | List and Overrides | Edit List Level menu option) cannot be selected. Why?

Not sure - can you provide more details?  Did you create a list item and a list override?

Everything worked smoothly for me. If it isn't working for you, could you send a support request to Sparx Support and explain exactly what steps you took?
