Operations in state machine?
« on: October 15, 2008, 12:30:34 am »
In a state it is possible to add operations by right clicking the state and selecting "Operations...". The added operations are shown within the state symbol as internal events and actions. How can the same feature be used within the state machinde symbol?

I want to add some states using the state machine symbol to model the sub states for that state as a separate drawing to avoid too large diagrams, but I cannot add operations to the state machine symbol as I can for the state. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this, or how to model sub state machines in another way?

Just right-click on the state machine element on the diagram and choose 'Operations', exactly the same as you do for the State element.

Perhaps I misunderstood your question?
