Inherit from Table Stereotype
« on: October 23, 2008, 12:42:51 am »
I have two different purposes for database tables. So I was trying to create a new stereotype to differentiate between the two kinds of tables in our class diagram.

However I am not able to set database option for the classes of the newly created stereotype of type class. I didn't find a way to make this new stereotype "database table like" at all.

Did anyone try to do the same before? Did you find a way of doing this? For now I just changed the colors of the two kinds of tables...

There's a lot of discussion of this in the forum. One user in particular did extensive experimentation in this area, and posted his results as they evolved.

Do a search and you'll eventually find several threads. Once you've found one, the rest are concentrated in a time period of about six months or so.
No, you can't have it!

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried to search the forum but unfortunately didn't find anything on the subject. I guess I must be doing something wrong but what?
