Connector Labels in RTF documentation
« on: December 19, 2008, 10:09:56 am »
Hi,
I'm having issues with my connector labels shifting when I print to RTF diagrams-only documentation.  I've repositioned them many times to get them to print properly.

Any suggestions on how to anchor the label to the connector so it will print more reliably?
Thanks,
Tomette

I don't think it's just a problem with rendering into RTF.

I was going to post a question today about the labels on my connectors (and sometimes the connectors themselves) moving around when

(1) I save a .eap file and then reopen it later, and also

(2) when exporting a .xmi file and importing it into a new .eap file. This seems to be much worse.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Yes, I have also experienced the connectors moving after making a change to a name or other detail in the properties, or making a change to the object to which it's connected.  When I go back to my diagrams, they're not positioned the way I had previously saved them.

I have just raised a 'bug report' on this. We'll see what kind of response we get.

I am starting to create quite large diagrams, that I am printing on plotters. So I don't enjoy having to re-position 100 labels.
