Auto Routing To all Connectors
« on: January 24, 2009, 01:31:04 am »
Hi,

In Data Model , i have hundreds of connectors between elements.
I have to set AutoRouting to all connectors.
Is the option "Selecting each connector --> Right Click --> Line Style --> Auto Routing " is  the only way ? or is there option to make Line Style as Auto Routing to all connectors in Data Model.

Kindly reply asap..

Regards,
Hariharan

I don't think this functionality is native to EA, but the utility at the link below claims to do what you are asking.

I have not used this utility so I don't know if it works as intended.

Open the Tools | Options | Links dialog. On the upper right you will see a Default Style section. Use the Routing drop-down to select Routed.

EA will remember this setting until you change it. I believe this will also be the case if you later edit projects that were created with a different default style (i.e. I don't think this setting is stored in each project) but I am not sure. I do know that EA will not retroactively adjust connectors you have already created.

No, you can't have it!
