Save images and creating sequence diagram?
« on: February 23, 2009, 09:37:55 pm »
Hi all,
I am completely new to EA and now evaluating EA together with Visual Studio 2008 pluging.

I have multple diagrams in a EA project. I can save images individually. but is it possible to save all diagrams in the project in a folder?

When I right click on a method I see the option to create Sequence Diagram. but nothing happens when i select it. Is it disabled in trial version?

Thank you,
rnv

Choose the base package those diagrams are in, then press <Shift><Ctrl><F8> to open the diagram reporting dialog.
Unselect the "Embed diagrams" checkbox, choose the type give a target directory and press "Generate".
This creates a RTF document which you can remove afterwards, your diagram images are in the Images folder in the same directory.

Hope that helps.

Oliver,
Thanks for the info. but I guess image names are automatically generated and cannot be fixed (eg. diagram name).

Any info on creating Sequence diagram will be appreciated.
