Generate DDL for a package via automation

Hi,

I am looking for a possibility to start the generator “DDL for a Package” via the Automation Interface. I mean the generator I could normally start by right-click on the required package in the Project-Browser and selecting CodeEngineering>GenerateDDL in the context menu.

Has anybody solved this issue?

There is no such call. Nor is there a way to invoke the menu command from the API.

This is a well known 'hole' in the API, and relief of some kind has been requested. As yet we don't have a solution.

Perhaps you'd also make a feature request. Until Sparx knows the extent to which this is causing us grief it is difficult for them to see it as a priority.
