Add Model to Version Controlled Package

When you add a package to a version-controlled package, EA prompts you to automatically add the new package to source control, and also to keep it checked out to you - great!

However if you 'Add a New Model Using Wizard' to a version-controlled package, EA doesn't offer this option - I wish it did.

Is this setting I am missing, or is it a bug/missing feature?  ;D
