SVN need lock error when configuring a package
« on: August 15, 2008, 11:31:06 pm »
Hi guys,

I've just started to try and use EA with SVN.

I configured SVN, setup the directories as suggested.

I got to "package control" and select configure

  • I check the "control package" box
  • I select my version control
  • I then click "ok"
  • I see "You are about to add this package to version control" and I leave "keep checked out" checked.
  • The comment box appears, I click "ok"
  • I see the xmi export running
  • I then get an error :  svn : Skipping argument : ".svn" ends in a reserved name

and
svn: Cannot set 'svn:needs-lock' on a directory ("branches")
[/list]

We are running svn client 1.5 and a pretty new version of the svn server (I don't know the extact version but it was upgraded last month).

I'm running EA 7.0.818

UPDATE - upgrade to 7.1.832 seems to have fixed the problem
