Hide/unhide objects in diagrams
« on: April 29, 2009, 05:38:55 pm »
Hello,

I am looking for a possibility to easily hide/unhide objects (not attributes or operations) in a diagram.

I need this to conveniently show two alternatives in one diagram. For examle, I have two system alternatives: System A consisting of Objects A, B & C and System B consisting of Objects A & B. It would be great if I could just hide and unhide Object C whenever I need to.

If I show both alternatives in different diagrams I face the problem, that I have to keep multiple diagrams updated if e.g. an Object D needs to be added to both alternatives.

Maybe there is even a workaround like linked diagrams, where an object if added to one diagram is automatically added to the linked one?

Thank you very much for any suggestions.

Will
