sticky tools

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to get 'sticky tools', i.e I would like a toggle button in the toolbox, so that if I select a tool, it stays until I select another one. I don't like that EA switches back to the default cursor as soon as a tool has been used. I am aware of the quick link feature, but sometimes this menu doesn't contain the tool I would like to use.

While you wait for this feature check out the keyboard shortcuts. In particular look at F3, Shift-F3 and control-click.

f3 works great, thanks! I can't figure out what you mean with ctrl-click though, where am I supposed to do that?

Shift-F3 and Control-click are two different shortcuts for repeating your previous add element action. The former uses the keyboard and the latter employs the mouse as well.
