Subtype semantic

Hi,

is there any documentation about the semantic of the property SubType?
I can't find anything. Could someone help.

Very little I'm afraid. Beyond the limited examples in the SDK documentation - most if not all in the attribute lists - there is nothing.

Once upon a time there was an attempt to create an SDK document separate from the main EA users guide. Some work on the 'magic' fields got done at that time. Since then the two documents have been reintegrated, with the SDK document replacing the older API section (from which the SDK itself evolved).

Sparx has done some work on improving the SDK (section of the entire document) since then, but there's still a long way to go in the case of some fields.

I suggest you submit a bug report or feature request - depending on how you view this - and perhaps this will put this specific issue on the list for an early fix. This is the kind of thing that Sparx could update between builds.

In the meantime, watch this thread. Perhaps one of the Sparxians can post a more complete list of the appropriate values.
