Whats an 'Execution Grid'?

Is it a way of organising a thread of execution?  I've tried the link but not able to reach the site... I'll try later... thanks

Kevin,

Yes, the execution grid shows all test steps for the selected test script being executed.

The great thing about this one is you can see all steps, attach documents or images to the step and see if there are any other attachments on the same step. Additionally, the grid allows you to log and view all issues associated with the step and automatically populates the issue with the step information saving the tester time and allowing them to concentrate on what is actually going wrong instead of recording the base information.

We have also continued the UML class / object concept & reuse through to the testing side by allowing users to create test scripts and by dragging and dropping them into an execution plan a execution script (an instance of a test script) is created. This facilitates reuse and allows script updates to occur in all instances of the execution scripts by simply updating the test script contained in the testers test library. With the EA integration we auto generate the test scripts again saving test analysis valuable time and allowing traceability between the UML model and test scripts.
