Encrypt connection string through API?

It's possible to encrypt the database connection string using the File / Save Project As menu item.

Is it possible to get an encrypted version of the connection string through the API?

If you are connected using an encrypted connection string EA will give you the encrypted connection string.  Other than that, I don't think there is.
