Hierarchy options on show diagram as element list

The options "Showed nested package content" and "Show hierarchy" are greyed out and unavailable on any diagram that I show as an element list - does anyone know why this is the case ?   Could it be because the models were created before 7.5 846 was released ?

Funny, I was almost about to post the same question. Now that I saw you're posting, I tried it again to confirm - But now it works.  

very strange... I know today I tried to see the list view of my requirements model and these two icons were greyed out. I could only see first level elements/packages. But now, it works. I see all elements and packages nested by level.

No such luck for me, I've tried shutting down and restarting EA but the options are still greyed out.

Because they are only available for the element list showing a package.  When showing a diagram, hierarchy doesn't exist and it doesn't know about packages.

That makes sense Simon,  but in my case even on diagrams that have packages in them the options are not available.

I think simon is right. Maybe I just selected the diagram instead of the package because it is labeled the same.

Graham, in your case it means you have to select the >package< which contains your diagram, not the diagram itself. Only packages work, I can confirm that.

OK, now I understand, basically these options will never be available when you switch from a diagramatic display to show element list for a diagram, even if the diagram has packages.

You have to select a package in the project browser and then choose show element list from there and the options magically become enabled.
