No text cursor in forum text field!?!
« on: August 26, 2009, 06:35:44 pm »
Hi!

I don't see any keyboard cursor with in the text edit box of the forum!?!? (Using FF 3.5 on WinXP). In the "Subject" field it works.

Is this issue known? Can anyone confirm?

Sometime (I think after pressing TAB to get out of the box and click to get back in, the cursor appears...

Thanks...and please...fix this, it's annoying! :)

Strange. I do not experience this with FF 3.5.2 or 3.0 (any). Nor have I had the problem with the current IE 8 release.

Could it be a driver issue? Windows XP seems fairly sensitive to this kind of thing. [That's not to say it wouldn't be linked to YABB (the forum software Sparx uses). It could be some feature of YABB that triggers the driver...]

[edit]In light of replies below...

Let me correct myself slightly. I've tried it with FF 3.0, IE 7 and on XP; FF 3.5.x and IE 8 were on Vista. Sorry about that.[/edit]

Hmm...I never experienced this in other forums... so... I actually don't know. Could be a driver issue. I'm using a standard Lenovo R500...

It would be nice to have some other comments on that.

But I won't be able to answer for the next 4 week since I'm on vacation! :)
