Newbie question - auditing seems to be disabled
« on: September 30, 2009, 04:03:31 am »
Sorry for my very newbie question - I have searched this forum but can't seem to find an answer.

I would like to enable auditing for my model - and in the "View" menu, the "Audit View" selection seems to be greyed out (disabled?).

Does anyone know why this would be so?

Thanks very much

What edition of EA are you using? Auditing is not available in the Desktop or Professional editions.

Also, if you have a Corporate or 'suite' edition of EA and Security is enabled, you must have Audit View permission to display data in the Audit View. However, I'm not sure if that grays out the menu option.
