How to link existing diagram to existing component
« on: October 02, 2009, 09:59:34 pm »
I'm sure this must be easy to do...

I have a model containing various diagrams and components etc. I would like to be able to link a diagram to a component for the sole purpose of being able to "drill down" to a detailed view if I were to double click the component if it appears in other diagrams.

I know how to do this when adding new diagrams but I need to link existing items.

Any help appreciated.

Mark,

- Move the diagram under the element you wish to link it to.
- Make sure this is the only nested diagram
- Right-click on the element and make it "Composite"

This will not create a new diagram, but instead link the first nested diagram it finds.
