Alignment of labels

Hi,
(1) is there a possibility to align several labels altogether in one step?
E.g. I have 10 ports and would like to align or change position of the labels in one step instead of changing it one-by-one of each port.
(2) How can I change the default position of a label?

Wouldn't that be nice! I second this suggestion. Should be a no-brainer.
