Hello.  Does anyone know if the spell checker checks linked documents ?

I would strongly suspect not...  Certainly didn't do it in my quick test...

Looks like a Feature Request is in order...

Let us know the name of the FR you submit and we can then support it.

While we're on the subject of linked documents...

How about providing support for linked document editing from within EA via an OLE connection? As in, EA fires up Word/Open Office and off you go? The current workaround is importing from an app like Word, but launching the appropriate OLE server from within EA is more convenient. The built-in RTF editor could still be used as a fallback.

As part of this, what about allowing native document formats in addition to RTF? (The EA editor wouldn't work in such cases, obviously.)

Better still, extend the "linked document" concept to "attachments" of various kinds, and have EA launch the appropriate app when the attachment is opened?

I have submitted an enhancement request to extend the Spell Checker capabilities to validate linked documents.   No reference number returned as yet.
