Remove blank line between RTF sub reports

Does anyone know how to remove the blank line that is inserted between sub reports of an RTF report?

Generally speaking look in the template documents and remove extraneous newline characters at the start or end.

If this doesn't work look in the notes fields and remove trailing new line characters.

IMHO there should be an option in the report generator to handle trailing newlines consistently - eg by ensuring there is one and only one newline between fields.

Unfortunately, that does not resolve the problem. There are no extra newline characters.

I am trying to join multiple reports together to create a single table. It works fine except that I have a blank line between each sub report. I can manually remove those lines but it would be great to find a way to stop them from showing up. Has anyone been able to do this?

You won't be able to fix it in 7.5.  I logged this as a bug some time ago and it was confirmed by Sparx.   I haven't tried it but it might be fixed in the v8 beta.
