Find elements in Project Browser
« on: March 18, 2010, 11:52:41 pm »
Hi, if you delete an element in the diagram it is still in the project browser. Is there a way to find all the elements that are in the project browser and not on any diagram? I can do it manually for every element in the project browser in the element context menu "Find in diagrams", but that's too much clicking, i want it automatic for all elements in a package for example.

Second corellated question with that: is it possible to delete elements on the diagram and concurrently in the project browser? Any Shift+Del  or Ctrl+Del don't work.

Elements that don;t appear on any diagram are known as "Orphans".  If you look that up in the help and in the search lists that should do what you want.

Ctrl+Del on a diagram element will normally purge it from the model.

The inconsistency of the Delete function on the diagram and the browser has been noted many times.
