The Project Integrity Check dialog has a Save Results button, which you click to save the results to a log file. You can print the log file through the usual Windows print functions.

Project/Model Validation results display in the Output window. There are right-click context menu options for copying all results to the clipboard (to be put wherever you want them) or in an external file (which you can print).

Okay I must be missing something here.

If I run "Tools\Data Management\Project integrity Check" the resulting pop-up with the results only gives me the option of "Go", "Close" or "Help" once it has completed. This is with "Report Only" selected as the default action, there is no "Save Results" button.

With "Project\Model Validation\Validate Selected". Yes you can save the contents of the output window to the clip board, but the resulting data is often useless as element name or "location" that is being referred to is not shown. Obviously the data is stored somewhere as you are able to double click on a line and it will take you to the offending element in the project browser.

My original intent was to use the output of one of these tools to list the difficiencies within a model in report form, as part of a quality audit e.g. these are the errors and this is where they are, rather than there's this mass of problems go sort them.

No, you are not missing something. I am!  The Save Results button for Project Integrity Check is for EA Release 8.0. It was introduced in Build 852 (Beta 2). For earlier releases, possibly Geert's advice is best. Can you resize the dialog to full screen size, to get maximum information per screen? I can, but I am unable to check when that facility was introduced.

For model validation, does the Save to External File context menu option transfer the information you need?
