How to create own master and basic rtf templates?

currently I am trying to rework our rtf templates.

I already tried this but I am running into several problems.

Is ther any guide available how to create such templates from scratch?

Hi Graham,

thanks for the link. I read this whitepaper, and can now identfy at least one of my problems when creating a template.

It is not even possible to create a valid table of content in a template with this whitepaper:

When creating a report and opening it with MS Word, an update of the table of contents will lead to missing chapter entries for headings level 1!

This is extremely disappointing.

In fact I have to export my templates to MS Word, add a correct
Table Of Content with Word and then reimport the template again with EA.

I wonder why such problems are so rarely discussed here!
