procedure for updating to ver 8

This is something the version 8 release notice didn't explain.
When updating to successive builds of EA 7.5, I've always just installed over the existing build.
Do I do the same when moving to version 8? Or should I uninstall first? Any advantage to doing that?

EA will always remove the previous version before installing the current (if it finds one).  v8 is no different.

We have to trust Sparx to do the "right thing" with the uninstall and remove all the necessary stuff and preserve all the right stuff...

So far, there hasn't been a problem.
