DAO 3218 Error

If you get a DAO.Error [3218] message:  "Couldn't Update; currently locked"; the culprit might be an unsaved Access layout change on the affected record.

From what I can see, Access appears to lock the record specification when the layout has been changed and you haven't yet saved (or reverted) the changes; this inhibits EA from updating the record.

NOTE: if you DO get this error, exit EA, fix Access and close it also.  The results, otherwise, appear to be anomalous.
