RTF documentation: normal.rtf updates

If we update (customise) our normal.rtf
how do we:

1) ensure the new and updated styles from normal.rtf are updated in all our model document templates in our repository
(nb: manually opening them all and updating them is not the answer I am looking for)

2) ensure that the updated normal.rtf is used/shared by all our EA users
(nb: manually copying to each install is not the answer I am looking for)
