YYYY Date format in RTF output
« on: September 15, 2010, 07:13:18 pm »
The RTF editor allows the entry of Date Time. AFAICS the formats are fixed.
Does anybody know how/if I can insert the date in YYYY format?
The rationale for this is, I want to add it to the document footer as part of the copyright.
Thanks in advance

There are two topics in the Help that might be of value. The first is the Add Content topic, which contains the note:

If you select a field with short date format (such as Pkg.DateCreatedShort, Diagram.DateModifiedShort or Element.DateCreatedShort) the format is actually drawn from the MS Windows settings. To use a different short date format, click on the Start icon on the Windows desktop and select the Control Panel | Regional and Language Options | Customize option.

The second topic is Styles, Special Text, Table of Contents, where we describe how to insert date and time fields:

Move the cursor to the point at which to insert the current date and time, and select the Insert | Date and Time menu option. The Insert Current Date/Time dialog displays, from which you select the required date and time format.
