Use Case Relationships  or Object Relationships
« on: September 16, 2010, 12:49:59 am »
What am I doing wrong that I cannot get the use case relationships or object relationships to activate by clicking and dragging them to the diagram view within my use case diagram?

Also - I'm not clear when I use the General, Include, Extend or Associate connector options within the diagram.

HELP anyone - Thank you :-*!

Bonita,

Don't "drag" relationships. Click on the toolbox icon, and then clik (and hold) the source element and drag to the target element.
Alternatively use the "quick connect" feature:
- Hover the source element
- click (and hold) the little arrow on the top right of the element
- drag to the target element
- choose the type of relation.

All this should work when the diagram and elements are "writeable". If you are using security, make sure you lock/unlock (depending on the mode) the diagram and elements.
