Does EA 8 support Java 1.6?

Hi,

I have been researching EA 8 in order to replace our old tool at work. I have been looking at the documentations and product specifications looking for the version of Java that EA 8 supports. The only data I found on this was that it supports Java 1.5.
Is there a link or document that specifies whether EA 8 supports Java 1.6?

I would be very surprised if it didn't but I do need this in text so I have proof backing up my assumption

I don't think there were any language changes between v1.5 and v1.6 - just performance and base class changes.

So, yes, it should be supported.

To my knowledge Java 1.6 didn't release any new syntax.  Which means that there was never any need to add support for it, as there was nothing to add.
