Close the Start Page

It is possible to close the Start Page.

There is a close button at the upper right but when I click it, nothing happen.

It is possible to have the same behavior like any other Mdi tabbed control?

If not, it is possible to have the tab header at the top instead of the buttom?

To have window tabs at the top, clear the checkbox "Tools > Options > General > Docked Window Tabs on Bottom" and restart EA.

Closing the Start Page will be possible with EA 9.0
