Convert between associations and attributes

I've created some models by importing, with "Import XML Elements/Attributes as: UML associations".

I'd like to convert some of those associations to attributes.  How do I do that?  I expect to need to do the reverse as well.

(Sorry if this is obvious to anybody but a newb, I did search the documentation and the forum)

I'm afraid you'll either have to re-import, or add the attributes manually.
