New to Enterprise Architect family
« on: January 29, 2011, 01:59:02 am »
Hi Guys,

I am a new member here and recently started learning EA. I do have knowledge of SOA and few middlewares like MQ, Biztalk etc but now I need to continue my learning with EA and just now started with TOGAF. My doubt is what other EA models are mainly used and what are the tools available for all. Would appreciate your replies and if possible share some good links for beginners

Sorry for asking silly question here

Thanks
Mendi

Well, I'll say hi there Mendi, even if others don't.
Welcome to the asylum.  :)

Your questions, I'm afraid are a little too broad to garner responses (I think)

There is plenty of stuff on the EA website explaining the basics of EA, but I don't think that's what you are after.

Try with specific questions, one or two of the current gurus (guri?) will certainly jump in.

But beware, there are a few crazy characters around here.  One of whom at least signs his posts "b" (N.B. NO fullstop.)  I'd be careful of taking any of his advice.

Enjoy!

That's the question.
