Diagram Copying in Enterprise Architect 7.0
« on: February 18, 2011, 08:24:14 am »
Does anybody know how to copy a diagram in Enterprise Architect 7.0 to a new project, so that the copied diagram's connections remain intact?

1. Try upgrading
2. Copy a package containing the diagram
3. Connections will remain intact only if all the entities in the diagram are incorporated in the copied package

If upgrading were an option, believe me, I would do it in a half a heartbeat.  Unfortunately, management is not as eager to spend money.  I already found this, but it doesn't work with EA 7.0.

I appreciate your hurt,
but the cost benefit for renewal should be an easy case to put to you boss,
when you account for the time spent to search forums carry out tasks that can be done out of the box in the current release.
Good luck
