How to propagate changes from abstract class
« on: March 05, 2011, 04:19:45 am »
Hello,

I have an abstract class and a child class.  When I add a new function in the abstract class, the change is not propagated to the child class automatically.  Is there a way to do it in enterprise architect?

Thanks,

Van

I find out that we can use Ctrl-Shift-O to update the child classes. But this only works if I add or modify function in the abstract class.  It doesn't work if I delete a function....

Van,

Indeed there is no such function to synchronize abstract features with subclasses.
If you search the forum you should find some heated debates about the subject.
