cant login to registered users

Hi
Has anybody else experienced difficulty logging in to the registered area of the Sparx website?

It wont let me in!!

I have the same problem when I try at work using IE 7. It won't even show me the login popup.
No issues with other browsers/locations.

If you are having trouble accessing the registered user areas, please send an email to our sales team for assistance (See the "Support" page).  Include the username and password you are currently entering, and perhaps also provide copies of your EA license key(s) for reference if possible.

What a mess.

I'm a fully paid-up, registered, long-time customer of Sparx. I can't access the web page to download the beta for v9. I have to "send a request" to Sparx asking for permission access the web page to download the beta?

This does not bode well for anything, especially the code quality for v9 itself.

I really think Sparx has lost the plot entirely...

How sad.

I'm anticipating that to get access to the v9 beta I'm going to have to spend another large quanta of cash...

It turns out that my subscription to EA had expired!
They did not send a reminder so it was not renewed >:(

Also worth mentioning that when you renew your subscription you get a new userid and password.

Having said that my access to the beta worked fine.

Of all the possible reasons that I can think of for you being unable to access to the registered users section of the web page, none have any relationship to the development process for Enterprise Architect.

It may be that like SomersetGraham your subscription has expired.  A lack of notification could be either because of an email filter gone wrong or an administrative error.

It may be that a firewall or setting in your browser is blocking the login prompt.

In any event, contacting Sparx Systems with your problem (I don't know if you already have) will be much more productive than a rant on our forum without providing any real information.
