Problem: Import DB schema from ODBC source

I setup and ODBC connection to an Oracle database. When I go to my package structure within Logical view as specified on http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/software_development/importdatabaseschemafromod.html, and select "Import DB schema from ODBC source", I get an "Unable to Obtain Table Information" error.

Can someone please suggest the best way to get this working?

I am able to connect to the oracle database and run queries using the same login credentials. I tried using sys dba privileges - same problem.

Has Anyone used Code reengineering to import oracle schema by connecting to the database using EA? Which version and How?

EA is particularly picky when it comes to drivers for Oracle.
If you search the forum for 'odbc' and 'oracle' I'm sure you should have a lot of results that can help you further.

Are you using the Windows Oracle ODBC driver? As Geert suggested, EA won't work with this driver  

Try using the ODBC driver supplied by Oracle, then it should work OK for you.
