Link a Diagram to a Document

Hi,

at first I have to say, that I am not a native English speaker, however I hope I can find help here.

I know it is a bit strange, but it is the best possibility for my problem. Is there a way to link from a document to a diagram directly?? I mean not with a hyperlink. I would like to have the document in my diagram and could open with a double click an other diagram.
