Network design and/or documentation UML profile

Hello everybody,

I am interested in using UML for designing and/or document computer networks. I am thinking about using a UML profile, but I wonder if there is a standard profile available. When I say "standard", it can be replaced by "de facto standard" or a "common" or name it yourself. It could be the same case as the UML Data Model profile used for modeling Relational Databases.

I have been looking for this profile and I have not found anything interesting. Does anybody have any further information ?.

Bump.

This is typically one of the most common requirements in the physical/deployment view.  In particular, I am sure you are also interested in capturing this detail accurately.  Port details on switches, routers, etc.

Any recommendations?
