How to import .cmof files from OMG
« on: June 14, 2011, 07:55:00 pm »
I keep getting errors while trying to import .cmof files containing UML specification XMIs, downloaded from OMG (http://www.omg.org/spec/UML/2.3/). Later version (2.1.2) doesn't work either. I tried both Infrastructure and Superstructure. And yes, I am familiar with this: https://community.nomagic.com/opening-uml-superstructure-cmof-t1756.html
Any ideas?

Adam,

I used StarUML a while ago to import the OMG xmi, and export a usable xmi file for EA.
The result has been uploaded to the community site: http://community.sparxsystems.com/resources/models-eap-and-xmi/ea-uml-meta-model

StarUML? :-) Thanks. I will try the same with UML 2.3.

Association multiplicities don't get imported properly. And I'm somehow unable to make StarUML work, so I can't try to find a workaround.
