EA is gradually getting slow ! Performance issue !

Hi Guys,

I have a situation.
EA repository connects to PostGre database & has around 25 concurrent users. The EA is gradually getting slower (for some users it takes couple of minutes to drop a simple text box on a diagram).

Need is to improve the EA performance as soon as possible. Any idea to resolve this issue?

I've found this as well.

EA slowly degrades over a session.  Shutdown EA (completely- reopening the project doesn't help) and it's back to a faster speed.  If you are busy modeling, you have to do this about once every 30 minutes or you will pull all your hair out and go mad and even consider using Visio or Rational Software Architect.

There's some funky memory loss or lack of garbage collection going on. I posted in the bugs sub-forum, but will raise a formal defect when I have time.

I use EA full time, and haven't noticed any problems over the course of a full day using it.

It would be great if you could submit a bug report and let us know the actions you are performing, show in process explorer (or similar EA's resource/memory usage)
