Customizing Diagram.DiagramImg for RTF expossible?
« on: July 12, 2011, 02:46:01 am »
Is it possible to customize the look of the element Diagram.DiagramImg in RTF template somehow? My problem is I am writing in German and I would like to not display the automatically genereated abbreviations of the diagram type (e.g. uc) right before the diagram name with Diagram.DiagramImg.

Another question: Is it possible to translate these abbreviations or the words for Element.Status (e.g. Proposed)?

Hi Ninca,

for sure some things are possible:

Do you have the diagram frame you want to remove? This is possible with "Tools - Options ( Crtl + F9) ". There you get the changes for "Diagram" and now remove all checkboxes at Diagram Frames. Then you got rid of the diagram frame and the Name as well

The Status of the requirements is changeable by changes the Project types at "Settings - Project Types - General Types" and change it the way you like.

Thank you for your helpful answer!

I guess then there is no possibility to keep the border around the diagram but not the name and the type abbreviation?

You can create custom diagram types as part of an MDG Technology. When you do that you can specify the format of the diagram frame label. Search the help file for "frameString" and you'll be on the right page...
