MDG Link for Eclipse
« on: November 02, 2011, 11:29:48 am »
Hi,

I have some troubles to use MDG Link for Eclipe (Trial version). Actually, I can't set up the MDG link: 'Connect External Project' doesn't appear in Add-Ins menu (See section 2.4: Set Up the MDG Linhk in MDG Link for Eclipe User Guide).

It fails with 2 different installations:

1-Windows XP. EA 7.1 Build 830 Professional Edition. Eclipse Helios (3.6)

2-Windows 7. EA 8.0 Build 863 Professional Edition. Eclipse Helios

Are there any hints to make MDG Link working ?  :(
thanks
elhache

Open "Add-Ins | Manage Add-Ins".  Is "Eclipse" visible in this dialog?  Does it appear to be enabled and running?

Do you have a project open in Enterprise Architect?  Do you have a valid package selected in the Project Browser window to be linked with Eclipse?

Thanks for your help. It works !   :)
I had to create a package, and select it; therefore, the link with eclipse could be done.
