saving diagram tabs

Is there a way in EA to save the current set of diagram tabs, so those tabs open when I open that project again ?

Yes, you can create a shortcut: File > Save Project Shortcut.

The Working Sets tab in the Personal Information window allows you to save the Main Tab View History from your last session.  You can then also select to have this set of tabs open by default.
